- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪I go to see an ENT because of a swollen throat. Once the doctor had discovered I had hearing loss, and hearing aids that were not working, he immediately started trying to sell me on new hearing aids. " Think of all you're missing out on" he said. At the end of the check up, I was lead to a room for a hearing test. A few weeks later, I discover that my standard co pay did not cover the entire cost of the hearing exam. You remember, the hearing exam I didn't need, and had nothing to do with my swollen throat.. So, here I get stuck with additional payments to the clinic because they didn't know about my insurance plan, and know one mentioned that the hearing exam "might not be paid for with insurance". Seemed like a used car salesman as soon as he thought he could get some hearing aids sold in his office. Would not recommendSeptember 13, 2017by Michael Shoff
